The Warehouse District Business Association was formed in 1997 to establish the Minneapolis Warehouse District as the leading arts and entertainment neighborhood in Minnesota and to encourage promotion of the real estate, retail and service businesses within the district. We serve two purposes, first as a marketing vehicle for the neighborhood with our brochure/map and website. We also serve as a communication vehicle between the businesses located in the historic Minneapolis Warehouse District. As a member, there are some great benefits including:
- Inclusion in brochure distributed via hotels, convention center, airport, Target Center, Meet Minneapolis, corporate concierges, local businesses, on request, etc. This benefit is only applicable to businesses that benefit from walk-in traffic.
- Inclusion in quarterly newsletter distributed to 1000 + addresses
- Inclusion in monthly e-concierge newsletter
- Inclusion on website that averages 2000 hits a day, with a link back to your site if applicable.
- Opportunity to announce events/sales/etc. via website and through e-mail
- Access to database with over 1000 contacts for marketing purposes
- Inclusion in member-only networking events
- Inclusion in other marketing activities
- Voice in the association and neighborhood
Membership is open to all businesses from the Mississippi River to 8th Street and from Hennepin Avenue to Tenth Avenue North. Membership includes the opportunity to participate in various committees and business groups. We also welcome members outside of these boundaries –please call for more information.
